Does anyone know how to import the characters animation on the BuildBox correctly ?

Mmmhh try searching around for some tutorials, I've never heard on that software before.
Then if you need different animation files let me know!

(+1)

Thank You! Soon or later i will find out  :D

You are welcome! I'm sure you'll find out ;)

How do I buy this resource if I want commercial use? What is the price?

Hi Molingsuo!
The complete version gives you the license to use everything in commercial games.
You have to pay at least 1.20$ for the complete version :)

(+1)

That was really cheap because I was worried about not being commercially available since I saw CC4 written on it. I came to ITCH.IO for the first time.

(+1)

Don't worry, just credit me somehow and with that license you can use my stuff in any of your commercial projects! ;)

(+1)

I'm not a professional and I don't understand what CC4 means. Thank you very much for your answer. Your pixel art is excellent.

You are welcome and thank you for supporting! :)

(+1)

I'm about to start developing a game and when I saw this pack I knew i had to get it! The plants are so cute! Its kinda of pack where you can see the designer put so much love on it.

Hi LazySalmon!
I really appreciate your comment, thank you and don't forget to show me your game when you fell confident, I'll surely try it! ;)
Have a wonderful day ~

(+1)

Hello! I've been working on a game recently, and I had a couple of questions:

When do you think the Modern Exteriors pack will be released? Sorry to keep nagging you, I'm just looking forward to those :)

Also, I was planning on having an online level editor for the game. Would you mind if I allowed my players to create levels with your assets (with credit of course), or would you prefer I only use the free assets in the level editor?

Thanks again for all the wonderful tiles!

Hey okr, don’t worry for asking! I’m sorry but at this time I can’t really predict the release of the exterior pack cause I’m having some private problems that are reducing my work time. I hope it’ll be out for Christmas!

For the online lever editor, your players are allowed to use everything, I don’t mind ;)

(+1)

Nice asset pack! Used it for like a ghost house for a game jam game, playable here if you want to check it out.

Hi QuietBenchZen!
I've just played it and I got hooked until the end! You used my asset very well.
Now I'm gonna rate the game, really enjoyed it!!!

(+3)

This has been really useful so far. One thing I'm missing and wish there were more of is vertically-oriented furniture. There's one vertical table, but no vertical sofas, desks, etc. Could be useful for making more diverse and varied living spaces.

(+2)

Hi, you are totally right! I’m gonna add more vertical stuff in the next updates! ;)

(+2)

Yesss I would really love this too!! Vertical objects are really desired!

(+1)

Gonna add some ;)

(+1)

That´s  Awesome!

Thank you nedo, I appreciate :)

(+2)

Hello! May I ask how can I add the thin white border you have in those screenshot to a room in my game? ( I'm using the RPG Maker MZ and those RPGMaker tileset you provided )! Thanks in advance!

(+1)

Hi marziza, hoping the MZ works like the MV, import the "Walls_TILESET_A4_" and use the tile above each wall :)
If I misunderstood, comment again and I will try to help you!

(+1)

Just bought this and I want to ask if the price increase could we still download the updates ongoing or we need to pay again when that time comes?

(+1)

Hi and thanks for supporting! I’m not sure about your question, It’s a thing I always wanted to test out. Btw, don’t worry, the price won’t increase ;)

(+1)

ah yes, just want to ask because I bought it at discounted price,
Would be happy if you have japanese themed city too XD

(+1)

That would be cool indeed! Gonna think about it! ;)

(+2)

Got this to make a custom gather.town map! It's almost perfect, but here's my outlandish wishlist to properly duplicate my house:

  • Vertical oriented coffee tables (the one tile wide ones)
  • Comfy looking sofas, in both horizontal and vertical orientations
  • Left/right oriented fridges
  • Pets (fine with them being static props for my purposes)
  • Loaf of bread
  • Small clutter, like books or newspapers or something, that can fit on a 1 tile coffee table
(+1)

Hi mneko, I have scheduled your requests :)
Pleas be a little patient cause I have a long queue at the moment!

(+1)

I don't know how to do RPGs, but I still buy it because they are great.

ahahah thank you, I'm sure you will learn one day! ;)

(+1)

Hello! These are so cute, I love them. I am struggling, though, with trying to use the floor tiles correctly - in the library sample image you have you use the brown checkered tiles as a background and make a "path" with the others, and your path turns at a right angle. I can't figure out how to recreate that right angle turn- it seems there is a tile missing, maybe? I've circled the part in your sample that I am having trouble reproducing, and then the second photo is the tileset in question- which tile is the corner tile? (also anyone who knows how to use these properly please help)

Hi cascatia, I've just uplodead the .zip folder containing the missing tiles. My fault, I'm sorry!

(+1)

Thank you so much!

You are welcome! :)

(+1)

I apologize for commenting so many times, I don't mean to bother you... But since you have a classroom, is there any chance you can add a lecture hall as well?

It's a wide room with a big screen, many lights, a podium (maybe with a microphone attached) for the speaker; similar chairs which look formal, there can be desks (it's a piece of L-shaped wood) attached to the chairs, or the desks can be separate.

If it can't be added to this pack, I'd be willing to buy it from another asset pack (if you make one)!

(+1)

Hi Nory, I got your idea, sounds totally doable!
I've added it to the schedule, I'm gonna try to add it before the end of the month!

Don't worry for commenting ;)

(+1)

Woah you are awesome! I'm really looking forward to it!

(+1)

Ahaha thank you, hope it’ll be as expected! :)

(1 edit) (+1)

Wow, this is beyond awesome!

I'm currently planning to develop a game with your assets (modifying some of them) and put it on Google Play (with ads) I know its been asked alot but I'm just confirming...

Also another question "The license is only for the complete version (paying 1.20$ or above)", that means if I download it for free I'm not allowed to use it for commercial use?

(+1)

Hi kairoo, thanks or your comment!
Yes, the free version doesn't allow you to use asset for commercial projects, but with the full version you can do whatever you want! :)

(+1)

Got it! Time to save up to buy this! Thank you for making this!

You are welcome ;)

(+1)

Hey there, I'm honestly very interested in your pixel art, but I honestly can't use them with the license you currently have it under. As I understand it, if I wanted to use these assets in a commercial game, or any kind of game really, its a grey area that the source code for said game must also be distributed in a similar way due to the share alike license, and the wording of said license (which honestly sucks but it can indeed be interpreted that way, so many people avoid CC-BY-SA assets for serious projects, since they want to keep their source code).

Do you have any intention of possibly selling your assets under a different license, like CC0, even if you charge a bit more for it? Or maybe you can sell some of this asset in a separate CC0 licensed bundle?

(1 edit)

Hi smartguy,
with this license you can use the stuff in commercial projects and modify it in any way, the only thing is to credit me somewhere. Your question was about sharing the source code that would also contain my asset? I didn't really get it, I'm sorry :(

(+1)

Since there seems to be some confusion, I hope you don't mind me chiming in.

LimeZu is selling the assets under the CC-BY license, which allows you to use the assets (for either free or commercial projects) as long as you credit them.

The license you're talking about is CC-BY-SA, which also allows you to use the assets for your projects as long as they're credited. BUT there is another term added called ShareAlike, which means you need to distribute your creation/product under the same license. This is what you mean by sharing the source code right?

In summary, LimeZu's assets are under CC-BY, not CC-BY-SA, so you don't need to share your code :)

Ahh thank you Nory, I guess you hit the spot!

(+1)

Well its a bit confusing since the "information" section says "CC-BY_SA 4.0 International, but it also says above if you pay above a certain amount its CC-BY 4.0. So Does the license change by paying? Or is the information tab incorrect?

(+1)

And yes that's exactly what I mean, under a CC-BY- SA license the source code would most likely also have to be freely made available. But under a CC-BY it wouldn't.

(+1)

Maybe the licensing section of this asset should be updated to make this more clear, it still says CC-BY-SA 4.0, not CC-BY.

Hi guys, I've just updated the license in the information section!
The previous one was a default option, I've never selected it to be CC-BY-SA!

Thank you! And thank you again for your great pixel art, I never regret having bought it, although I have no idea yet what I will do with it😁

Ahahah you are welcome! ;)

Thanks! Appreciated! I definitely like your work, hope you make more! :)

You are welcome!

I’m gonna do more for sure  ;)

(1 edit) (+1)

Hey, I'm currently a student. For one of my projects we are having to create a game, I just wanted to check you've stated the free version doesn't have a license does this mean I can possibly use it for my student Team project/game?

(+1)

Hi Whisky, you can use it for such purpose, don't worry :)

Btw, the free version is reaaally small compared to the full one!

(3 edits) (+1)

I know ^^, I'm so tempted to buy the full one it's brilliant but have to confirm we can pay to use graphics via lecturers before I can. Edit: (brought the full version. def worth it, Amazing work)

(+1)

Oh, sounds great!
Btw, good luck with your project, you can do it! ;)

(1 edit) (+1)

Very nice assets ! I'm very happy with my purchase.

But it seems to me that all the characters are badly positioned for RPG maker (MV/MZ) in the sprite sheets. The animations must be played in the vertical direction and for the moment all  animations are played in horizontal ways. Currently the characters move in the right direction, but totally remain static ! :P

Are there any plans to modify this for RMMV/Z?

In any case, well done for your work! (reminds me the universe of "Mother3"  <3)

PS. I don't know if you plan to make a Patreon account, but I think we would be a few to support you ;)

Hi Nicobliss, thanks for your comment! Indeed, a few of you have already asked for a patreon, I'm gonna launch it with my next asset!

I'm really open to fix the files to cover your needs, but they actually work in my RPG Maker MV!
If you tried to use the Witch or the Zombie, they have no run animation cause they are intended to be npcs (but I can add a run animation if needed tho)

Btw, I've updated the RPG Maker run animation  of the other characters cause it looked a bit weird to me -> here

Please comment again if you still have issues or if I've completely misunderstood, and thank you again for your feedback!

(+1)

Oh my gosh ! I am tired !

Indeed, I tested with the purple girl (the witch if I'm not mistaken) and I di'nt see  she had no animation. It seemed strange to me that there was an error regarding the quality of the work, but I did'nt think further !

It's official, I'm blind!

All my apologizes :)

PS.  An animation of these two characters would be nice, but it's not vital. At best, I would do it myself in aseprite :)

Ahahah don't worry, no need to apologize, it happens! It was good to me to review those files cause I found some little issues, so thank you!

Good luck with your game/project and comment again if you need, no hassle! ;)

(2 edits) (+1)

Awesome, man. Love your style. Is it possible to include all character spritesheets into one per character?

Hi kexooo, thank you so much for appreciating my work and helping improving the quality!

I've just updated the .zip with the files you requested, hope they are what you need! here

(+1)

Exactly what i was looking for, tnx :)

You are welcome! :)

(+1)

Great, very beautiful work. Thank you! I like video games. Maybe can join a video game room with modern computers, large monitors and some game machines.

Thanks for the comment! Ye sure, added to the schedule :)

(+1)

hello, you can make a game room?, like with 8 ball pool, arcades, etc?

you are awesome

(+1)

Hi, thanks for your comment!
I add your request to the schedule, it would be cool indeed! ;)

(+1)

Hello, I want to ask will the animated typing receptionist (with purple hair) be added into the pack? I just bought it and she doesn't seem to be included. Thank you!

(+3)

Hi Nory! The receptionist is the only showed animation that was meant to be “advertising-only”, but I can easily add it ;)

Do you want the animation to have the white box too, or just the hands and eyes moving?

Would it be possible to have a separate frame for the white box (so it can added or not based on the user's will), or um... two versions: with and without the white box.

If that's too much hassle, having her without the box is fine, I only need the receptionist right now, it's just I'd love the box for later usage ^^"

(+2)

Ye sure. I’m gonna add it with today’s update ;) no hassle, don’t worry!

(+2)

Hi Nory, I've just added them, I went for the 2 animations way (with and without the text box)! here

(+1)

Thank you so much for the update! She's adorable~

(+1)

I uploaded another video of my project with your assets:

(+1)

Uh this looks great! looking forward to seeing the whole game!

(+1)

Are you working on a new pack? Can't wait to buy it

(+2)

Hi! Yes, I am, don’t worry ehehehe

(+1)

I just uploaded a video of the map I made with the music I found for it:

(+1)

This looks great!

Also, I'm unable to set up some of the wall and floor tiles properly in RPG Maker MV. Can I please get a little help?

Yes sure, explain me the issue :)

(1 edit)

When I put the wall and floor textures on A4, it doesn't work properly.

(+1)

I guess I found the problem, I'm solving it right now

(+1)

Thank you :)

(+1)

Just uploaded the fixed version in the v8.4 .zip! :)
-

Now it should properly work! If not, comment again!
(+1)

These are so cool! I had to fill out surveys on Survey Junkie for a few hours to be able to buy these but it's worth it lol

(+1)

Ahahahah that was smart! I'm glad you like the asset :)

(+1)

Thanks for all the art (and making it so affordable) ! I used your work in my new game: https://stepford.itch.io/bump-in-the-night

Really high quality stuff! <3

Uhhh I’m gonna try and review it asap! Thanks for your comment and keep creating!!! :)

(+1)

This set is absolutely amazing! I love the halloween stuff! When Halloween is over, maybe can you add a coffee machine and coffee cup?

(+1)

Thanks for your comment :)

You are lucky, cause the next theme gonna be the kitchen! So, for sure I’m gonna add those things!

(+1)

I can't wait! <3

(+2)

I ACTUALLY SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THE HALLOWEEN UPDATE. i put a pause on my game idea, BUT THESE UPDATES ARE EXACTLY WHAT I NEED.

ahahahaha go on and make a great game! don't forget to give me the link, I'll try it for sure! ;)

(+1)

for sure 😭 I love your work. Thank you for making such amazing tiles 🥺💕

You are welcome, anche thanks for supporting! ;)

(1 edit) (+1)

Hello from France @LimeZu !

First: thx for the awsome pack !

Second: i have a problem or a misunderstand  :)

The sheet for mapping (with Tiled) is ok, (i use 48*48).

But when i'm using the character tilesheet they are not in 48*48, they are more like 48*63 and the whole sheet is 192*96 for the Characters idle_48x48_2.png .

Can you help with this ?

Thx and continue ! :D

Hi mordicuss! Thanks for supporting :)

The characters are indeed rectangular, but the file heights are a 16,32 and 48 multiples, so there shouldn't be issues!
When importing the characters in Tiled, try setting the tile size to 48x96, it should work

Hope it helps! If not, comment again cause I might have misunderstood! :)

(+1)

I can't recommend this pack enough. It had great stuff to begin with but the updates are coming and coming. Thank you so much for all the work you put into this!

Wow thank you so much! I have no words for such comments!

Have you tryied to solve animation import problem for rpgm mv users?
p.s. really nice windows!! it's perfectly what i was expect!

Yes I figured it out, gonna assemble the files in some hours. Btw in the rpgmaker the max frames for animated objects is 4, so a lot of animations won’t fit!

Yes, i think you have to create more files with eight animations for each... or similar

(+1)

Sorry for downloading and not paying you anything. I'm just learning. I dont even know if ill be able to figure out how to do anything with them yet. Either way thankyou very much for making this available to people like myself.

Don’t worry! The free version is there for a reason ;) just take in mind that it’s extremely small compared to the complete asset and it has no license!

(+1)

Awesome bundle!

Thank you so much for your comment and for supporting! :)

(+1)

Wow ! this asset always update !

(+1)

Every day, with no exceptions! ;)

(+1)

Oh! Do you have any plan to make some NPC ?

(+1)

Mmm sure why not!

(+2)

I contributed to this pack over 2 1/2 months ago and I’m very impressed with how far you’ve come.  You are improving with every update.

AAh, you bought the pack before the daily updates started, and you are still here!
I'm so grateful to have such great buyers! Thank you so much for your comment! :)

(+1)

Hey! can i kindly suggest could you try to reduce interiors tileset file numbers, with more tile draw for each one? Rpgmv have only four space (B,C,D,E) for objects in each group. Having more tile for each tilesets give me the possibility to use more tile without change group for the scene

Hi resiFrog, the RPGMaker MV tileset B-E have a maximum size of 768x768, that's why I had to divide them.
There's no actual way to have bigger tileset files, maybe with some plugins...

(+1)

Yes, I know, but there is a lot of blank space for example in the "interiors 0 ", i don't know if you can fill with other tiles...or if i'm saying nosense sorry.

Ah sure, the Interiors 0 is quite empty cause it contains the old stuff, I'll add the new stuff there in the next days

(+1)

oh.. okok thank you very much ! you're really friendly and helpfull :)

You're welcome ;)

(+1)

Hey! Your tilesets are awesome! Have you think to draw an outside city tileset/objects pack  next days?

(+1)

Thank you so much!

A city tileset is in the making, it’s taking a lot more than expected, but I’m on track!

Btw, I’ll soon publish a revamped versione of serene village, with a lot more and improved stuff, all for free!

(+2)

You are so awesome :D

(+1)

Thank you ahahah :)

(+1)

hey, could you made Kitchen set like it...or just like the Office kit :D

(+1)

Right after the Halloween updates I’ll do kitchen updates :)

(+1)

thank you so much :D

(+1)

you are welcome! The kitchen updates are long time scheduled, it's time to make them real!

(+1)

how i can import correctly in A1_A5 rpgmv?  Can you write a txt about or something about?

really nice work!

Hi ResiFrog, no worries,  I’m gonna  add some files for the A pages in about ~8 hours :)

(+1)

Great! i'm glad to know!

Thanks for all!

You are welcome :)

can you notify me when you made A1_A5 import method or text about? :)

Yes, sure, I’ll comment here :)
