Hello Lime wow the new set of the museum is super incredible and the effect of 3D on the walls super cool  :D

Sorry to bother you, I wanted to know if you are going to deploy the outdoor set soon, you really don't know how much I would love to use them, excuse me for insisting and thanks again, excellent work bro: D

(+1)

Hi ivan, I'll try hard to complete a decent preview for you to complete your poject soon, I didn't forget! ;)
The official release and the start of its massive increase will surely be when Modern Interiors ends, at this point.

(1 edit)

Thanks Lime, give it, don't worry, I'll wait for you :3  Thank you for not forgetting XD

Does that mean that modern interiors ends with the museum or are you going to get another resource hehe?

(+1)

Hiya! I've been using this spritepack for my game for quite a while, and really enjoy everything in it, as well as the stream of updates you've been providing. I was wondering if it would be possible to upload a version without shadows? I've been manually removing them, as they do not fit with the look of my game, but with the continuous updates, merging the shadow versions with non shadow textures has been difficult. If not, I completely understand. Thanks!

Hi aujuslia, thanks for your comment!

I got your problem! Today I should be able to add a version of each theme file without the grey shadow ;)

(3 edits) (+1)

Added! here Hope it's as you were expecting that!

(+1)

wow, thanks so much!

you are welcome aujuslia! Happy game-making ;)

(+1)

Fantastic assets!!I love it so much,Now im working on a morden Openworld RolePlay game , Soon i will share with u the previews ! thanks a lot for the tiny price for the best resources ever made on itch io

would it be possible to expand on some of the  Hollywood type

interiors? like  video camera?

Thanks for your comment kinfox, can't wait to see your game previews! Great idea, I'll seriously think about a "luxury/Hollywood" theme!

(+1)

Wow! Fantastic assets LimeZu! Love it!
It's possible to gift the complete license of your pack? I would like to send it to a friend of mine that makes games with Rpgmaker, but paying myself ;P

Hi dax, thanks I appreciate!
The only way to let you gift the asset is to temporarily remove the free part, so a "gift" option will show up when buying it!
Tell me if you are ready ;)

(+1)

HI how are you: D lime sorry do you receive messages in private?

(+1)

Ahhh I've just seen it on Twitter, there are no notifs of message requests on my phone! Gonna reply you later today

(+1)

Thank you very much Lime: D

(+1)

Now im working on a RolePlay game with tons of works (Robbers, bankers, etc), Soon i will share with u the previews ♥
Once again, thanks a lot for the tiny price for the best resources ever made on itc io

(Im from argentina and the dollars are much expensive haha)

Thanks thanks thanks thanks >u</

(+1)

Uhh I'm looking forward Kamus, keep going and thanks for your comment! ;)

(+1)

Hi there, would it be possible to expand on some of the office interiors? Put some cubicles, desks, and windows like in an office?

Hi peter, cubicles are indeed a great idea for the Modern Office pack, as soon as I end revamping it I'll add them ;)

(+1)

up, Modern Office pack is amazing, we need more

Hello! Love these tilesets but I had a question! How do you run the animation in rpg maker MV? Like if I want a camera in a fixed place to constantly play its animation.

Hi Schizomi! Many animated objects aren’t available for the rpg maker cause it has a 4 frames cap! Btw, I’m not an rpg maker expert but there will probably be a plug-in to do that ;)

I've found a simple tutorial to loop an animation without plugins, it should be useful!

Have you solved it Schizomi? This video here could help you too with the looped animations:

(+1)

What do all the icons in the how-to-walls.png file represent? I can't seem to find a reference to how they should be used.

Hi Swen! That was an old tutorial that explained how to use the wall borders! Now things have changed cause all you need to do to create a room is using the "Room_Builder" file, so the "how-to-walls" file has been removed! I suggest you to update the pack for free, since you already bought it 20 days ago ;)

(+1)

Ok, thank you. Will do that.

After going through the "Room_Builder" file quite thoroughly I'm a bit confused. There seems to be some parts missing in some of the room borders/ceilings. How would I go about recreating what's in the 2nd example image (on the right) with one of the 3 wood borders? That protruding wall at the top (between the plant and the radiator) seem to need a ceiling piece that does not exist in the wood ones.  Am I missing/misunderstanding something or is that just how it is? Thanks in advance.

(+1)

My bad Swen, I've just added all the missing tiles to the wooden wall borders and a little example to use the weird ones! Feel free to ask anything else and thanks for reporting that issue!

(+2)

Hello. I really love your drawing style.

Can I make a request & share an idea about what you might do next? I'd really love to see you doing "Night Club", it'd be awesome if you could make it happen. :)

Thanks Cartman! The Night Club might be the next big theme cause it would have a lot of stuff that's actually missing in the asset!

You ever thought about doing Vehicles?

(+1)

Hey, i`m having a silly question. But i cant find a solution. I tried to split your Interior Sprites, but all of them are not having the same size, so common sprite cutter, cant cut the sprites. Is there a tool to use?

Hi Doc! I'm not sure if there's a tool for that, but I believe so!

(1 edit)

dumb question. but how can i split the sprites then? or do you have them stored seperatly and i just oversaw them?

I'm sorry but there aren't separate files for each sprite.
I should've started doing that from the beginning (if only I had known!!!) Now it's pretty mad to think of it since I should do it for thousands of sprites, each of them in 3 sizes, unluckily

Funny thing is, it seems that i am the only one with this problem xD

I would just select one at a time, copy it, paste as a new image.

i thought about that too. but that would drive me crazy. i need around 70% and thats way too much work. especially you are still cutting several 100 pieces and you always have to find the one you need

(1 edit)

Whoa! I’m gonna think about this! I definitely see the problem now!

Come to think of it, I bet I will run into the same problem later when I do my murder mystery game… Hmm… (smell arises of burning brain cells)

Guys, I've decided to start adding myself a file for each sprite! Hope it's like you wanted, today I went for the Clothing_Store ones here

(+1)

I had the same issue, so I made this tool: https://yeoji.github.io/spritesheet-cutter/

It doesn't always get the sprites right, and it only exports them one at a time right now (you have to select which one you want to cut out), but it's better than manually drawing a box and copy-pasting them in photoshop.

Hope it helps you!

(+1)

Thanks for the tool yeoji! I wasn't aware a bunch of you were having this issue, so I decided to solve it, even if it will consume a lot of time. I've started with the Clothing Store files, hope they are as you wanted! here

(+1)

Wow that's brilliant! Really love your art and your dedication, keep it up :)

Thanks yeoji, I appreciate! ;)

Not all Heroes wear capes, and you Sir are definitely one of them.

I checked it with a few  sprites and it almost works perfect. Is this site a preview, or can i use it whenever i want?

You can use it whenever you want :)

I would like to further improve it by adding grid-based slicing and also the ability to select/export multiple at a time in the future.

Thank you very much. thia tool is amazing

(+1)

This is going to be a stupid questions but this is my first time ever making a game lol

I'm using RPG Maker MV on my mac and I 'm having trouble with the sizes of this tiles. At 48X48 they,re too big for the tile window on the left, and they kinda disappear off the sides. Any smaller and they tile highlighting tool is too big for the images, and will clip in other tiles from surrounding images. Is there  a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

Hi timelord! There's a specific folder for the RPGMaker MV, and those files shouldn't have any issue when loaded into the software!

Comment again for further help!

(+1)

Loving the assets so far I was just wondering how the character creator works cause I can't seem to find it myself haha

Hi Dejsho! Thanks for your comment!
There's a .txt file explaining how to use the Character_Generator here:
"Modern_Interiors" -> "2_Characters" -> "CHARACTER_GENERATOR"

Comment again if you need further support ;)

(+2)

Hi Guys, I'm sharing here a video of a new project being made with my asset, for anyone who wanna check it out! Still under developmente, but looks already cool tho

(+1)

Ohay, Limezu! I've sent you an email, lemme know if you received it! ~~

I've just read it Owl, I'm gonna reply later today ;)

(4 edits) (+3)

just found this after trying to search for a pack of tiles (omg, the most daunting task for some reason ? like i cant imagine spending hours connecting seperate sets but they all seemed to be seperate) and from the previews it looks REALLY good

im trying to think of a simple ish game to release for my first game and making it all myself just sounds so time consuming that it put me off of it

and for a dollar this is honestly a steal, this is some good looking work

and it looks like theres a LOT of content ! even in the free version

and the consistant updates make it an even better deal

"Hundreds hours of work for a tiny price...am I crazy? "

i mean , maybe , but im really grateful ! lol

i cant imagine how long this took you to make lol but props and also thanks for making it available to others , will def be using this to some extent in my first public project - if not future too, with credit bcuz i think its just rude not to with the amount of work clearly put into this

(+1)

Thanks for your comment nabrappy, one of the best I've recently read!
Don't forget to spam your game here and if there's any issue ask without worrying ;)

(1 edit)

i did actually want to ask, im having some trouble importing to rpg maker mv.  i can get the tilesets in the resource manager, but actually trying to use them (or any of the stock tilesets, too for some reason) dont show up or work as expected. like the mapping for everything was off. im new to mv (coming from xp) so this is more than likely my fault and i dont know what im doing lol

but i would appreciate, if you had the time, a quick tutorial for dummies on how to actually add and use the tilesets / animations / char gen in Mv the right way  xd

i am super bad with learning curves lol, i thought it was as easy as xp but the mapping coming out wack tells me nope

i dont even know which resolution is the right one for Mv XD (16, 32, or 48) thats how little i know

since getting Mv i havent added any assests at all - besides once editing a char bust myself and that worked okay - just played around with events and some plugins, so this is new water for me entirely ^^'

(+1)

Don't worry, let's break it down!

1) For the RPG Maker MV content, just use the files you find in this folder: "5_RPG_Makers" -> "RPG_MAKER_MV"
2) Some of the features are disabled for the rpg makers due to the software limitations
3) There's a txt file in the above mentioned folder to help you import all the stuff
4) Each tileset is bound to a certain tileset slot or a certain group of tileset slots, here's a video of what each one does:

Good luck with this, you can do it!
Comment again if you need further support ;)

ah, thank you ! i appreciate the pointer in the right direction lol

its a good thing i have both XP and MV, in a way, because i can use some of this with either or, or both ! so thats good to know

will def work on setting this up this week and see how things go

(+1)

it's not out yet but, here's what i'm working on :https://nabrappy.itch.io/why-dream

(+1)

it looks great, I'm gonna read the full page this evening when I have some free time! Keep going ;)

(2 edits) (+1)

Hi, can I use the Full version asset in a paid game and give credits?

Hi BiGames! Sure, you can use the full asset in any commercial game ;)

(+1)

well, i have a problem, i bought this asset on another account and even tho i have it i can't update and i don't have the licence, is the licence for this asset just crediting?

Hi Manu! Why can't you update the pack? Some other users had the same issue in the past and they solved it updating the asset through the "library" page: here

For the license, it's both explained above here and in the "LICENSE" .txt file!

Comment again if you need further support, don't worry for asking ;)

(1 edit)

ok so the license is a CC-BY right? if it is i should be allowed to use it if i give you the credits

am i wrong?

(im doing all this cause i don't remember the pass of the other account's email anymore)

If you have the full version of the asset, the stuff is allowed to be used in any project expect the resell of the sprites themselves, even if edited.

well as my pack isnt updated idk if the license changed thats why im asking

It has changed a while ago, but if you have an old version the valid license is the one written in the .txt file you have. Btw, I didn’t understand why you can’t update the pack, have you somehow lost your account?

(+1)

Do you plan to make matching face sets in the future to be used in dialogues for the characters you have? Happy to pay in a separate pack. Even a simple neutral face expression would make my game so good looking. RPG games are very dialogue driven. So, would be great!

I once started doing that (my profile pic is an example) but I dropped it. Now that I have completed the "Character_Generator" system I should consider the idea of creating a "Portrait_Generator" system!

(+3)

Hello, does this pack offer support for Game Maker Studio?

Hi kblurry! I'm pretty sure the asset is fully compatible with GMS ;)

Thanks! I was afraid i couldn't use it cuz this pack has everything i was needing for my game XD

ehehe great! Let me know about your project then ;)

(+2)

I'm using GMS2 as well and this asset is fully compatible and easy to use.  Best of luck!

(+1)

Thanks for your feedback Amethyst <3

i have no idea how to import these into my game easily...

:(

Hi secondhr! What game engine are you using?

rpg maker mv, i just dont know how i can import these easily and have them work in game.

(+1)

Uh ok! I personally worte a .txt file to import the stuff into the RPG Maker MV! You can find it here: "Modern_Interiors" -> "4_RPG_MAKER_MV" -> "IMPORT MANUAL"
-
There are also some tuorials that explain how to it, here you go! ;)

Comment again if you need further help

i watched it, imported all the stuff, and for some reason everything just looks out of place...idkkkk

sorry

Mmmm wait a second, do you have the free version or the full version?

Is this you Limezu? On the tutorial.

no no ahaha,  it's not me!

(+1)

Hello LimeZu, thank you for such wonderful work. Just downloaded the full version! I'm using it for a small personal project where i'll make a small game for my S/O. However, shamefully, I'm awful at creating maps.

I'm wondering: are there map-packs using your tileset that you'd recommend? I'd be happy to pay a bit extra and they wouldn't be used in a commercial project!

(I'm using RPG Maker MV)

Hi across! I don't think there are map assets using my stuff out there, I'm adding it to the to-do-list ;)

Thank you for the reply! Whenever you have that up and running, I'd be happy to send some money your way for them :)

Hi chicken! You can't select part of the tilesets cause they are autotiles, that means they should automatically add the room borders etc when filled with a floor tile! Let me know if you managed to do it, and don't worry for asking ;)

(+1)

So awesome, now if you could just convert them to VR.

Thanks jumpjets! What do you mean with "VR"?

3D objects using your sprites as textures. Either you do it or I do it... it'll probably be me. :)

(+1)

Hi!  Grabbed this pack because I've been on the hunt for a grocery store tileset! It's really cute!! I'm very new to making games, so I'm sorry if this has an obvious answer... I'm using RPG Maker VX Ace currently.

The only thing is, I tried adding the "A5_Walls_Floors" image (from the VX Ace folder) as well, and the transparency on that one doesn't seem to work? Or should I be using the files from the 32x32 folder instead?

Hi Solovei, can you show me a screenshot of the issue?
Btw, the VX Ace stuff is not up to date cause I wasn't even sure someone was using it, but I can add the missing stuff if you want ;)

(+1)

Thanks for replying! Yeah, I know it's pretty old at this point but I think I grabbed it in a humble bundle some years back... It kinda just sat there in my steam library ever since, though the newer versions definitely look tempting.

Anyway, here's what I mean - the transparency on  the B tileset is fine, but the "border" of the wall is from the A tileset, and as you can see it has that blue/black grid still showing?

Ohh I got you now! Unfortunately you can't use that tiles to create an inner corner if the software doesn't intend them on different layers! Now we have 2 ways to fix it, tell me which one do you prefer:
1) I split the A5 file into 2 files so I can add more walls and ceilings options that exactly fit the tile size
2) I add the walls and corners options to a generic B-C-D-E file, so the software will intend them on a different layer

Oh gosh - Um... Either one is fine, I guess. Whichever is less work for you?

The first option is pretty fast and will allow me to add the latest floors and walls too! I'm going for it tomorrow ;)

(+1)

I have a question. If I downloaded this for free can I make a game and make it free. Or is that still considerd commercial?

I am not selling the asset for free, i am selling my game for free.

Hi Devgoat! You are allowed to ;)

Do I need the paid version to sell my game for money tho? thx by the way

Yes, you need to pay at least 1.20$ for commercial projects!

(1 edit) (+1)

"- You CAN'T edit and resell the asset to others"
So i can't use theses to make a game i could sell later on?

(+1)

So, I'm not the asset creator, but that usually means that you can't edit and resell the assets alone.
" - You CAN use the asset in any commercial  or non commercial project"  means you can use them in a project you intend to sell, that's what a 'commercial project' means.

(1 edit)

Hi 8bit and thanks for the help Mayli!
Yep Mayli is right, that means you can edit and use the asset in any of your commercial projects except the resell of the edites stuff as a standalone project!

(4 edits) (+1)

Hi! Just to be sure, is composing a "scene" using the assets and selling the resulting image allowed under those terms? Like some collectible cards, but not actually a game.

Hi Homunculus! As long as you don't resell the tilesets divided in sprites (and there's no actual way to take them out of your work) is fine!
Btw I would love to see the result if you are creating some collectible cards or stuff like that, I'm curious ;)

(+1)

Thanks for building this tileset. It is great! Still looking for another set for outside or world overview that matches the style of this set.  Any recommendation is welcome. Or are you guys all building games that only play inside?

(+1)

Thanks NoobOnGames, I'm glad you like the asset! Some new are coming in the near future ;)

(+1)

Hello! I like your work very much! I wonder if there will be more titles in the outdoor graphics pack in the future?

(1 edit) (+2)

Thans Urada, I appreciate!
For sure, the city tileset is of course planned and I'm slowly working on it, but first there will be a new pack with some cool stuff including new additions for Serene Village ;)

I look forward to it. :)

(+1)

Hi, limezu, how are you? I hope you find you very well in advance, the designs that you uploaded, super nice, very good work.

I wanted to know if it is possible that these glass designs can be extended like the mat that is on the left side that allows it to be designed both in height and width, you can help me with that.

I would really appreciate it, thank you very much.

(+1)

Hi ivan, for sure I can add some modular tiles for that glass so it can be extended in height too! Tomorrow I'll do so ;)

(+1)

You really don't know how much I thank you very much, thank you: D

You are welcome ivan! Yesterday I added the tiles you asked, tell me if everything is ok ;)

Super wonderful, thank you very much, I share a little what I achieved hehe, and I apologize for not answering you before I had not seen your message: C

Hi, I couldn't find the answer to this in the comment section. I've paid $5. Can I alter the color of the bedsheets for example, or the color of other sprites for a school project (non commercial) or does this break the T&Cs?

Hi platymelon! You can edit and use the sprites in any project unless it's the resell of the edited sprites! So, yes sure ;)

(+1)

Thank you so much. Btw, I'm noob and still learning. Could you give a rough idea of how to use the character generator? How would I go about assembling my character with all the character features  in your pack? Photoshop or some sprite editor like Tiled?

(+1)

Hi platymelon! The character generator only support idle and run animation so far, it's still in development ;)

Many art softwares can do the trick, but one fast way if you are lost is using Piskel, that doesn't even need a download!
Just drag the files in the right order and export the result with the button!

Right order: Body + Outfit + Hairstyle + Accesories

(+1)

Amazing! Thank you so much for the assets, but also your support in the comments! Really appreciate it, take care :)

You are welcome platymelon!
I found some tutorials to get started with Piskel if you need ;)

(+1)

Can it be used with Construct?

Ho Veindoors! Yes, I’m pretty sure it can be used in Construct!

(+1)

nice, I will use it in my next game

That's great! Feel free to spam it here then ;)

I found this tutorial about importing sprites into Construct 3 if can help!

hi, i have a question, how can i put object in other direction, for example, horizontal? i have problems with put a bed un a wall in the left part

Hi orjuela45, There's no way to do so unless there's the horizontal version of the beds, I can add some to the asset if you want ;)

(+1)
Yes, I need a bed and a closet, and if you have others then that would be great, Thank you. if you can also turn them upside down it would be better

I recently added some of stuff you asked including the the side-view beds! I'm adding more in the future ;)

(+1)

No rush, but seems like the white and red bathroom stall does not match the tileset, all the rest imports nicely. I tested 16x16, 32x32, both the bathroom specific png and the full interiors png, I would guess the issue persists on 48x48 as well:

https://imgur.com/a/g1I0JTZ

(+1)
You are right P1llus! I'm not gonna change them tho cause I've recently revamped them! In the bottom of the file you can find the new bathroom stuff including a modular stall system that only requires to be placed over the toilets!

(+1)

No problem at all, I don't mind using those instead :)

Last but not least, I need to figure out if all the 32x32 characters was indeed intended to be cut just around the hair, I understood you created a dynamic system to be able to change out their hairstyles and such, which might be a RPGMaker thing, but just wanted to check if it was indeed intended?

Example cut on 32x32:

https://imgur.com/a/c1Gp5gP

(+1)

Yep, they are all that way, is it a problem for your engine?

(+1)

It's not a big issue, at least not in Unity, I can just set the offset myself, just wanted to make sure, so that I suddenly didn't end up with some characters one size, and others in another size :)

Thanks for all the swift replies, i'l get back to testing then!

Uh ok, they are all that way, and I won't change the character model ;)

You are welcome P1llus, tell me if there's anything else!

(+1)

Such amazing work, really loving the content :) I was just wondering if the color pallette you shared, is that for all the content or some of it?

(+1)

Thanks P1llus! The palette was a bit outdated, I've just uploaded the current version in the latest .zip ;)

(+2)

Much appreciated, makes it much easier to make smaller changes or add additional content that matches! :)

(+1)

I love your work, can I add elements in the same style for a commercial project?

I'm not reselling the new asset, I'm just using the fusion of the two in a video game.

Hi Moctorios! Sure thing, go ahead and good luck with your project! ;)

Deleted 2 years ago

I just name the outfits when they are related to a job, it's not only the chef.
I want every file of the "Character_Generator" to be generic and not related to a previous character because I'm gonna add many more variations and clothes that won't belong to any already existing character! The stuff is still under development and I appreciate any feedback ;)
